Joel Salatin, Save Our Saluda, and an Office Tour

*** MEETING MONDAY, OCTOBER 12TH, FURMAN HALL 110, 7pm***

The Joel Salatin has been approved for CLP status! Make sure you are there at Younts on October 15th at 7pm - it's going to be awesome. Check out: polyfacefarms.com

Also - FUOC and FUUF (Furman University Upstate Forever) have been collaborating to bring a representative of Save Our Saluda, a local grass-roots organization dedicated to preserving the rivers of upstate South Carolina to Furman this month. Tentatively, this will be a CLP on October 28th in Burgiss theater, so mark your calendars!

As a follow up, we will be helping to organize a river clean up on the Saluda River on the morning of Sat, October 31 - yes its Halloween but its in the morning so it shouldn't interfere with your plans! Or come in costume if you like :) This event will also be publicized to community members of Upstate Forever, so this is a great chance to mingle and get outside the bubble!

And lastly, we will be able to go downtown for a tour of Upstate Forever's super-cool "greenovated" office building! We will determine a date for this at our meeting.

Please come to the meeting to brainstorm more ideas for this term or next term, come with suggestions if you can!
